On October 29, Xiwicloud jointly organized the "Quality Management Digitalization Seminar Salon at Huawei" event with Songshan Lake Developer Village and Dongguan High-Tech Industry Association. Representatives from over 30 enterprises including Jofore Intelligent Equipment, Guangdong KINGGIAN Technology, Guangdong Zhengye Technology, Guangdong Leewin New Energy, BTR New Material Group, and Guangdong Dongbo Intelligent Equipment attended the event, which received high praise from participating enterprises afterwards.
The seminar focused on digital transformation in quality management, inviting industry experts to analyze key challenges, share implementation strategies, and facilitate in-depth discussions on achieving full product lifecycle quality management, multi-party coordination across industrial/supply chains, and efficient quality control - all aimed at accelerating enterprise transformation.
During the event, Chen Wei, Huawei's Senior Digital Transformation Consultant, delivered a keynote speech titled "Converging Industrial Ecosystems to Empower Manufacturing Transformation: Reflections and Practices." He elaborated on China's Intelligent Manufacturing Capability Maturity Model while detailing how Huawei builds digital foundations based on lean production systems across product lifecycles, value realization, and manufacturing flows to create smart factories integrating comprehensive quality management with flexible production.
Xiwicloud CTO Peng Shan thoroughly analyzed emerging requirements and trends in manufacturing quality management under new circumstances. Examining best practices from industry leaders, he clarified the respective roles and boundaries of QMS, MES and ERP systems in quality management, revealing through data analysis that MES and ERP systems cover less than 20% of comprehensive quality management needs.
He explained Xiwicloud's commitment to providing holistic quality strategies enabling full PDCA cycles across R&D, production, after-sales, laboratory and supply chain quality. By sharing successful case studies, he offered enterprises actionable pathways to address quality management challenges through tailored transformation approaches.
During interactive sessions, participants engaged in profound discussions on industry-specific quality issues, digital transformation, and supply chain management to identify common development paths for quality management. Many emphasized the critical link between product quality and customer loyalty, noting continuous quality improvement as fundamental to building and maintaining customer trust. Consensus emerged on balancing quality excellence with process efficiency while recognizing the importance of embedding end-to-end quality management into daily operations and long-term strategic planning.
Participants expressed strong interest in further collaboration with Xiwicloud, hoping to jointly advance quality management innovation through its technical expertise and services. The event concluded with a visit to Huawei's European Town, where attendees experienced firsthand the technological and innovative atmosphere while gaining insights into Huawei's achievements, work environment and corporate culture.
With this successful conclusion, Xiwicloud remains committed to building high-quality exchange platforms that explore industry trends and elevate quality management standards, continuously injecting new momentum into enterprise development. We look forward to future gatherings that will open new chapters of cooperation and progress.
